What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Nation's Best Sports?
The Marketing Coordinator will be required to work in-person at the NBS Office located in Fort Worth, Texas. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Ecommerce.

Our mission to support the Independent Retailer has flourished since 1956, and we continue to provide resources for our Members to thrive and succeed. We comprise of over 460 Members and partner with other 1,200 Manufacturers worldwide. We host at least 5 Buying Markets (similar to traditional trade shows) annually that serve as future order writing opportunities between our Members and Vendor Partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Communicate regularly and effectively with the Director of Marketing & Ecommerce regarding tasks and projects.
- Assist in creating email campaigns to distribute to our Members, Vendor Partners, and NBS Staff.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing any of our NBS Websites, both externally and internally.
- Assist in improving Merchandising-focused events and item presentations both digitally (year-round) and in-person at our NBS Markets.
- Assist in creating presentations, signage, flyers, and other marketing materials for all NBS Markets.
- Assist the Merchandising and Events departments in planning effective in-person and virtual events for our Members and Vendor Partners.
- Assist in executing e-commerce marketing strategies set by the Director of Marketing.
- Create, strategize, and manage social media, including photography and videography.
- Assist in collecting footage (photography and videography) of our NBS Markets.
- Set a positive example for fellow associates in honesty, ethics, morals, and leadership.
- Improve the overall image of NBS to our Members, Vendors, and Prospective Partners.
- Stay up to date on emerging marketing and technology trends within our industry.
- Willing to travel to NBS Markets, industry trade shows, and other industry events. Annual travel percentage would be less than 10%.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proficient with Email Marketing Platforms (Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient with Canva
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, etc.).
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or other marketing-related field.
- Proficient with website design software and/or HTML coding experience and familiarity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including content writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and the ability to meet and manage deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to deal effectively with a wide range of personalities, requests, and tasks.
- Strong attention to detail in written communications and graphic design elements.
- Ability to gather and share information effectively with NBS Members and Vendors.
COMPENSATION:
- Commensurate with experience, but entry-level is acceptable.
