What Does a Kitchen & Bath Designer Do?
- Build new partnership/relationships and support existing customers and contractors.
- Executes the design process, including client consultations, site visits, leading the client presentation and selling the project
- Assists in the pre-construction meeting and participates in final project walk through with client
- Transcribes all necessary information into system to order products, determine size and quantity, etc.
- Maintain a consistent, pleasant, customer service-oriented image to customers.
- Read blueprints.
- Prepare bids and material estimates from customer or contractor blueprints.
- Additional Duties as required.
What Does It Take to be Successful Kitchen & Bath Designer?
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college in Project Design preferred.
- 3 years sales experience in the building materials or construction industry.
- Experience in the following fields: Project Design, Project Design Sales, Project Design Management
- Experience creating take-offs and estimates preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a random basis.
- Results-oriented with ability to serve customers with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible.
- Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills.
