Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying the identity of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee premises and identify any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by assessing situations accurately and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Perform routine patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures, including conflict management and loss prevention strategies.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping for future reference.
- Assist in emergency response situations by providing first aid or CPR if required and supporting overall site safety initiatives.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, including CCTV operation and monitoring systems.
- Ability to handle conflict calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Experience with law enforcement procedures or military background is advantageous for understanding legal protocols and tactical response.
- Certified in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
- Familiarity with security practices such as loss prevention, access control, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent observational skills combined with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or hazards.
