JOB DESCRIPTION:
This person will be responsible for participant recruitment, coordination of the research procedures, behavioral/EEG testing, data entry and maintenance of study records. The individual will work under the clinical supervision of Dr. Javitt and research supervision of Dr. Martinez.
JOB DUTIES:
Interface with recruitment sites to identify potential study participants.
Meet with participants to assist with recruitment, consent, and study procedures
Maintain accurate study documentation and regulatory records
Collect behavioral, EEG, fMRI, and eye-tracking data.
Manage study protocols and securely enter, organize, and maintain data in REDCap
Assist with data analysis using MATLAB, EEGLAB, BESA, and other analysis software.
Perform statistical analyses using SPSS and MATLAB
Supervise and maintain laboratory operations and equipment
Assist with scheduling experiments and running behavioral and neuropsychological testing sessions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA or BS, preferable with a major in Psychology, Neuroscience or similar field
- Experience working directly with individuals affected by serious mental illness, including depression or schizophrenia.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); File organization and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in administering neuropsychological assessments is preferred.
- Familiarity with REDCap for research data management is also preferred.
- Experience with data analysis using software such as SPSS and/or MATLAB.
