What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transcriptionist position at Nathan Littauer Hospital?
Job Purpose: Transcribes and distributes a variety of anatomic pathology reports. Maintains files and records. Responds to clients request for information. Works closely with Pathologists to insure accurate and timely reports are produced. Will serve as an assistant to Histology Department and Laboratory Office.
Education: Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: No prior experience requested - three (3) months of on-the-job training is provided.
