What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Nathan Littauer Hospital?
Job Purpose: the purpose of this job is to provide the Controller with confidential financial and statistical information, prepare report and surveys to appropriate outside agencies and provide support and assistance in the Finance department.
Essential Job Function: Prepares weekly required reporting for both internal and external activities. Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements, account reconciliations and supporting analyses to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, general ledger review, and related schedules. Reconciles monthly back statements. Assists in the annual prepatation of Operating budget of the Hospital and Nursing Home.
Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Experience: Possess one (1) year prior experience in Accounting.
Salary : $27 - $32
