Lead VFX Artist (YouTube Production)

We're looking for an experienced Lead VFX Artist to help create high-quality visual effects for an upcoming YouTube project. This is a temporary, project-based contract for approximately two weeks with the potential for future opportunities based on performance.

We're looking for someone with strong technical skills who can take ownership of the project's visual effects while collaborating closely with our production, editing, and creative teams.

What You'll Do

• Create and integrate high-quality visual effects into live-action footage
• Design and composite video game-inspired effects such as HUDs, health bars, inventory systems, and other interactive UI elements
• Perform motion tracking, compositing, cleanup, and visual enhancements
• Collaborate with editors and production staff to achieve the desired creative vision
• Help establish and maintain a consistent visual style throughout the project

Qualifications

• Previous experience creating VFX for video productions
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar software
• Experience with motion tracking, compositing, rotoscoping, and cleanup
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant work
• Experience creating video game-inspired visual effects is highly preferred

Project Details

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Approximately two-week project
• Compensation: $2,750 per project
• Production takes place Monday–Friday during standard business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
• Work is based in Oceanside, CA (92056)
• Potential for future project opportunities based on project performance

Pay: $1,375.00 per week
