Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or issues within electrical systems.
- Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance.
- Work with high-voltage electrical wiring and industrial electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely while following electrical safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity on construction sites or during renovations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience working with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical wiring in industrial settings.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Demonstrated ability to perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting using specialized equipment like ohmmeters.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects or new installations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to electrical work to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately for precise execution of tasks.
