Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, preferably in fine dining establishments.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the kitchen environment.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is advantageous for effective communication with kitchen staff.
