What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Evening/Weekend Receptionist position at Natavi?
We are looking for an Early Evening/Weekend Receptionist. Shifts days are flexible but on a set schedule. Shifts during the week are typically 1:00pm-9:00pm. Sunday is a shorter shift from 10:00am-2:30pm. Saturdays occasionally. It is not required to work every day listed. Evening and Weekend hours required. The receptionist must be able to perform a variety of administrative tasks. You will be the first point of contact for our company. You will welcome guests and check in swimming lesson students and greet people who visit the business. You will also help parents with scheduling and questions. Some light cleaning is done also. To be successful, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. Some cleaning required during slow times.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive
- Give tours and information
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures
- Check in students and help with scheduling or changing of classes
- Help with daily cleaning tasks as needed
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
