What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Assistant position at Natalia Huang Piano Studio?
Looking for a responsible individual with various office tasks for a piano studio in midtown Manhattan, with travel to Greenwich, CT once or twice a month.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Keeping the studio environment clean
Traveling to our CT location once every two weeks
Be resourceful and creative
Maintaining studio social media
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/Publisher)
Experience with Google Drive/Slack/Trello/other web applications
Ability to read music is preferred
Highly organized and meticulous
Email marketing using Mailchimp
Your tasks will continuously be different depending on what the studio is currently doing. When performances occur (usually on a Saturday), you are expected to attend and help out.
The position is around 10-15 hours a week, with potential for more hours. We ask that you commit around five hours each day you come in, and there is flexibility on which days you wish to come in (Mon - Sat). You will receive training for two to three weeks before you are finishing tasks on your own.
We are looking for someone to not only assist the studio director, but also be a team member in our studio family. Any experience around children will be a plus!
