We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed.
- Utilize upselling techniques to recommend additional services based on vehicle maintenance schedules and diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and estimates through effective service writing.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct follow-ups with customers regarding their vehicle status and satisfaction with services rendered.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records related to service sales.
- Stay updated on automotive repair trends, technologies, and dealership policies to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong background in auto service management or mechanic experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Experience in service writing, auto estimating, and automotive repair processes is essential.
- Familiarity with various automotive systems including transmissions, oil change procedures, air brakes, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and brake repair is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and trust with clients.
- Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping.
