📍 Location: Hybrid – Green Bay, WI & Milwaukee/Waukesha, WI (Travel between both locations is required)
📅 Duration: 960 Hours (Full-Time Contract)
We are seeking a Senior Cisco ACI Data Center Engineer with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in Cisco ACI to support enterprise data center operations. This role requires a seasoned engineer capable of leading complex implementations, executing Method of Procedures (MOPs), and collaborating across infrastructure teams while working in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Cisco ACI-based enterprise data center environments.
- Execute Method of Procedures (MOPs) for planned infrastructure changes and maintenance activities.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus NX-OS and Cisco Catalyst switching environments.
- Support day-to-day data center operations, upgrades, and incident resolution.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate across engineering teams.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of critical network infrastructure.
- Participate in change management, documentation, and operational best practices.
- Travel regularly between Green Bay and Milwaukee/Waukesha data centers.
Required Skills
- 10 years of Data Center Networking experience
- Expert-level experience with Cisco ACI
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus NX-OS
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches
- Data Center Infrastructure expertise
- Experience executing Method of Procedures (MOPs)
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
- Leadership experience in enterprise environments
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure in mission-critical environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise network modernization projects
- Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Experience in large-scale production data centers
- Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE Data Center) are a plus
