The Nassau County Tax Collector’s Office is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role serves as a key point of contact for the public, providing essential services, accurate information, and timely resolution to customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect property tax payments
- Issue driver licenses
- Process vehicle titles and registrations
- Issue hunting and fishing licenses
- Provide certified copies of birth certificates
- Issue concealed weapons licenses
- Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using appropriate methods and tools
- Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven customer service experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to diverse individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation and problem-solving abilities
- Cash handling experience preferred
