The Nassau County District Attorney’s Office is offering a program of part-time, flexible employment for 2L or part-time 3L law students in either its Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) Unit or Intake Bureau.
The job permits a maximum of 17 hours per week (or 34 hours during a two-week period) and pays $17.26 per hour.
The degree of flexibility will vary from assignment to assignment within the office.
Applicants must:
- be a 2L (or part-time 3L) at an ABA accredited law school;
- be a Nassau County resident for at least 12 months;
- fill out a Civil Service Application (provided by NCDA)
- be fingerprinted and background checked
