The Opportunity
Nassau Candy is hiring a Shipping Manager to lead outbound operations in a high-volume pick/pack distribution environment. This is a hands-on floor leadership role responsible for supervising 20–25 warehouse associates and driving daily execution, accuracy, and on-time shipment performance.
This role is best suited for a warehouse leader who prefers constant floor presence, real-time problem solving, and holding teams accountable to clear standards. This is not a working supervisor role — you will lead, direct, and enforce execution rather than perform picking or packing.
While food distribution experience is preferred, candidates from other high-volume distribution environments with strong outbound leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead and supervise 20–25 order selectors, packers, and loaders on the warehouse floor
- Direct daily pick, pack, stage, and load execution to meet accuracy and shipping cutoffs
- Oversee table packing operations, including order verification, anchoring, labeling, and documentation
- Ensure pallet build accuracy, wrapping, labeling, and shipment staging integrity
- Oversee loading of Nassau Candy’s delivery fleet to ensure accurate, on-time dispatch
- Coordinate order flow from pick completion through close-out and invoicing
- Enforce SOPs related to packing quality, food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety
- Coach, develop, and hold associates accountable to productivity and quality expectations
- Resolve shortages, discrepancies, and floor issues in real time
- Maintain clean, organized docks and staging lanes
- Pick and pack accuracy

This facility is preparing for a major operational upgrade, including:
- NetSuite ERP warehouse management
- RFID inventory and order tracking
- Wave and batch picking workflows
- System-driven productivity measurement
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of warehouse or shipping management experience
- Proven leadership of teams with 20 associates
- Hands-on knowledge of pick/pack/ship operations
- Strong understanding of dock operations and outbound logistics
- Experience working with WMS or ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Ability to spend the full shift on the warehouse floor providing active supervision
- Experience supporting process improvement or system implementations preferred
