📌 Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Print & Pack Manager to lead high-volume production across digital printing, packaging, and fulfillment operations.
This role is responsible for driving throughput, improving efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery across all print, bagging, and finishing functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence on the production floor and a track record of identifying bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and scaling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
⚙️ Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations Leadership
- Own end-to-end print and pack operations, from production through final shipment
- Drive daily output across digital, pad, edible, and direct printing platforms (including HP Indigo 6K or similar)
- Oversee bagging, packing, and finishing operations with a focus on throughput and accuracy
- Align printing capacity with downstream packaging and fulfillment capabilities
- Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks, particularly in bagging and material flow
- Optimize floor layouts, staging processes, and material handling strategies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Track KPIs including output, labor efficiency, downtime, and on-time delivery
- Utilize Excel (pivot tables, reporting tools) to analyze trends and improve performance
- Establish clear accountability metrics across production teams
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff
- Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement
- Partner with HR on staffing, training, and performance management
- Work closely with Operations, Planning, Customer Service, and Sales teams
- Ensure alignment between production schedules and customer commitments
- Oversee performance and maintenance of printing and finishing equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- 5 years of experience in print production, packaging, fulfillment, or high-volume manufacturing
- Strong understanding of digital printing and finishing operations
- Proven ability to improve throughput and operational efficiency
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong floor presence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision making
- Experience with bagging, packing, or fulfillment operations preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
