Shipping and Receiving Clerical Administrator

NWP, an established local manufacturer of steel wire products for the material handling industry is accepting resumes for Shipping Administrator at our Frankfort, Kentucky location. This position ensures our products are provided to customers in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

• generating bills of lading via ERP System
• generating and performing inventory control functions such as cycle counting via ERP system
• generating pick lists via ERP system and verifying for accuracy

Selected candidates must have recent steady work history with prior experience in administrative functions of shipping/receiving operations. Prior experience in fast paced manufacturing shipping environment with limited supervision and a high degree of accuracy is required. Qualified candidates must be highly motivated with exceptional computer & communication skills. Experience with Microsoft applications including Excel, Teams, Outlook, performing inventory control, and bill of lading creation using an Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) such as SAGE is required. Selected candidate must pass company provided drug screen, criminal background check, and tape measure skills test.

Shipping Administrator pay progression: $23.75 start, $24.50 at 90 days, $25.50 at 1 year. Base schedule for this position is 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, with additional overtime as required with little to no prior notice to meet customer demands. This position is typically scheduled 50 hours per week. This is an hourly paid overtime eligible position.
