What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events & Operations Intern - Fall 2026 position at Nashville Sports Council / Music City Bowl?
Internship Dates: September 14, 2026 - December 31, 2026
Intern candidates must be current college or graduate school students. This internship is unpaid and is for course credit only. Please do not apply if you are not a current student or will be able to receive course credit - we are unable to make exceptions for this position.
This internship is an in-person, full-time (40 hrs / week) position. If you have any scheduled classes or prior obligations between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying.
All internships will be interdepartmental to allow for a well-rounded intern experience. The Events & Operations intern will have responsibilities as follows:

- Have active role in event day execution and management of member events and large events, including the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl.
- Oversee each team manual for the SEC and Big Ten.
- Assist with the overall strategy of Sports Council events by assisting with bids, site visits, research etc.
- Have active role in event day execution and management.
- Attend site visits and planning meetings with staff
- Assist with membership and ticket renewal calls, as needed.
- Execute projects, assignments, and general administrative duties as assigned by staff
- Other duties for Nashville Sports Council and Music City Bowl as required
