We are currently seeking Medical Assistants (MA) to support our Nashville-area clinics, including our Franklin/Cool Springs location, with the flexibility to work at other Nashville offices as needed. Candidates must have excellent time management and organizational skills, be motivated and dependable team players, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

This position consists of four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday).

Summary of Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, review medical history, and obtain a detailed HPI

• Explain procedures and obtain patient consent

• Scribe for providers during patient visits and complete lab/requisition forms accurately

• Set up for and assist providers with procedures including biopsies and excisions

• Administer lidocaine and IM injections

• Perform wound care and provide post-procedure instructions

• Communicate biopsy and lab results to patients and coordinate follow-up treatment as directed

• Clean, package, and sterilize instruments

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards

• Follow OSHA safety protocols

• Perform other clinical duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred, though relevant clinical experience may be considered in lieu of certification

• Dermatology experience preferred but not required

• Willingness to work at multiple Nashville-area offices, including Franklin/Cool Springs, depending on clinic needs
