Job Description
We are seeking both entry-level and experienced QC technicians for in-plant, field and laboratory work. Current valid certifications are desirable but we will provide training and you are eligible for increased pay based on attaining certifications from outside agencies such as ACI or NRMCA.
Job related tasks include the following:
- Sampling, testing & inspecting concrete at the concrete plant
- Sampling, testing & inspecting concrete in the field
- Conducting laboratory testing of hardened concrete samples
- Conducting laboratory control tests on components such as fine & coarse aggregates
- Maintain & calibrate testing equipment
Desirable candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Basic math & computer skills
- Ability to complete daily inspection report forms
- Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed throughout the day
- Valid driver license with good driving record
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass a criminal background check
