Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Protection Film Specialist to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint protection film (PPF) to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that enhances durability and appearance. Your expertise will help preserve vehicle aesthetics while providing exceptional customer service. Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of the paint protection film
• Measure and cut PPF accurately using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for precise application
• Apply the film smoothly and securely, eliminating bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections through buffing and heat application techniques
• Use auto body repair skills to address minor surface imperfections prior to film application
• Operate auto glass tools and perform auto restoration tasks as needed to ensure vehicle surfaces are flawless before PPF installation
• Conduct quality checks post-application to verify durability, finish quality, and adherence standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools

Requirements

• Proven experience in dealership auto body repair, auto painting, detailing, or vehicle maintenance with a focus on paint protection film application
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, buffing equipment, and auto glass repair techniques
• Familiarity with welding, auto estimating, auto restoration, or mechanic experience is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation and preparation processes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
• Knowledge of auto estimating procedures related to vehicle modifications or repairs involving PPF is a plus
• A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and a passion for automotive aesthetics
