Duties

- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of employees, providing training in customer service and store procedures
- Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to boost sales and customer engagement
- Handle cash handling, cashiering duties, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and performance evaluations to build a strong team environment
- Utilize management tools to monitor sales data, inventory levels, and retail math to inform decision-making
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and store policies while supervising shift management responsibilities
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or parts store environments with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, merchandising techniques, and retail math principles
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and team leadership
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks
- Skilled in customer service excellence with phone etiquette expertise and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently through strong organizational skills and time management
- Experience in retail sales environments in automotive parts is highly desirable
- A proactive attitude with supervisory experience in store management or assistant manager roles is preferred
