Espresso Equipment Repair Technician

Job Summary
Seeking an espresso equipment repair technician with good mechanical knowledge and a desire to learn. Previous coffee and espresso equipment repair experience preferred. The technician will be provided a service vehicle with parts to travel to our customers and complete repairs, installations, and water filter replacements.

Nashville Espresso is a commercial espresso equipment company with several years of experience in the industry. This position provides an exciting opportunity for the right person to become part owner of the service department within one year of working for the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service calls, installations and preventative maintenance on commercial beverage equipment.
• Maintain a parts inventory to effectively respond to customer calls for service.
• Accurately report daily work orders and paperwork for timely invoicing.
• Enjoy working independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must have a clean driving record and driver's license.
• High school diploma, trade school or college education accepted.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs if necessary. Some equipment is heavier than others.
• Good time management skills. Being prompt for any appointments scheduled.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
