SUBSTATION TECHNICIAN I
Nashville Electric Service is currently seeking applicants for the position of Substation Technician. Duties include assisting in maintaining and testing of communications circuits and equipment for relaying, analog and digital carriers, fiber optic equipment, oscillograph and other associated equipment; assist in or perform high voltage insulation tests of aerial devices for safety, transformers, breakers and other substation equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering technology from an accredited institution is required.
- No experience is required.
- Subject to 24-hour call.
- Must have a valid Class D driver’s license from state of residence in accordance with state law.
Minimum rate of pay is $36.12.
