POSITION: Summer School ELL Mentor - Secondary
LOCATION: Nashua High School North
DAYS/TIMES: July 6, 2026 to July 30, 2026 (Monday-Friday: 7:30AM - 11:30AM)
SALARY: $12 an hour
QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual applicants preferred.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Mentor assists students with their classroom lessons under the teacher direction, and helps cultivate a supportive classroom community.
Provides guidance and support to students in the classroom, whether in small group or one-on-one learning situations. Provides consistency in the delivery of the curriculum by following the teacher's lead and reinforces the teacher's classroom directions, discipline and instructions and other duties relating to students.
Provides enthusiasm and positive attitude toward learning, maintaining a positive relationship between personnel, students, and their families. Maintains confidentiality regarding student and student family information. High school students are encouraged to apply.
