POSITION: Adult Education English 3 Teacher
LOCATION: Nashua High School South
WORK YEAR: 2025-2026 School Year (Tuesdays 3PM - 6PM)
SALARY RANGE: $35 per hour


QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be certified to teach or hold a Bachelor degree or experience teaching adult learners.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
A teacher in the Nashua Adult & Community School is responsible for teaching courses using instructional methods geared toward the adult learner in a classroom setting. Teachers implement strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. While being positive and encouraging, teachers plan lessons and curriculum based on the learning needs of the student. Nashua Adult & Community School teachers are assisting all students to become college and career ready.
