Insurance Verification SpecialistNashua Eye Associates is an Ophthalmology Practice located in Nashua, New Hampshire. We are currently looking for an energetic insurance verification specialist that is experienced in healthcare billing. This position is responsible for verifying patients insurance benefits before scheduled visit, assisting the front desk with verification questions, and calling patient to verify correct policies. Your Responsibilities (Primary Duties):Patient Insurance verification with both patients and insurance companies (Ophthalmology/Optometry).Maintains strict confidentiality of protected health information.Maintains HIPPA compliance.Performs other duties as requested by managerMay Include the Following:Communicating with patients regarding insurance policies.Verifying through insurance websites patients’ accurate plansIdentifying missing information and updating patients account Needed Qualifications:Strong attention to detail.Proven problem-solving skills.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized.Excellent time management.Ethical Conduct.Computer skills required.
