What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Assistant - Full Service position at Nashoba?
The server assistant is the person responsible for helping greet and seat guests. When not directly helping guests the service assistant is tasked with helping throughout the restaurant wherever and whenever needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and welcoming guests into the restaurant
- Seating guests at empty and cleaned table
- Helping throughout the restaurant when not directly helping guests
- Estimating wait times and monitoring the waiting list for guests
- Ensuring that the needs of guests are met while they wait for tables
- Answering phones, booking reservations
- Cleaning tables and cleaning dishes
- Ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of food and non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintaining a safe and pristine environment
- And most importantly, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests
