Nashoba Valley Winery is one of Massachusetts’ premier hospitality destinations, where guests come to enjoy locally crafted wines, beers, ciders, and spirits in a scenic vineyard setting.
Our operation evolves with the seasons:
- Spring through Fall: The Knoll — a vibrant 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor venue with 100 tables, sweeping vineyard views, and multiple tasting areas
- Winter: Service transitions indoors to The Pavilion and tasting room (weekends)
- Midweek (Winter): A more intimate operation focused on tasting room and retail service

Position OverviewThe Operations & Customer Service Lead is the primary on-site leader responsible for daily operations, team performance, and guest experience across all service areas.
You will oversee:
- Beverage Servers
- Tasting Room Staff
- Terrace Bar Team
- Beverage Expediters
- Guest Check-In
This is a hands-on leadership role. You won’t just manage — you’ll be actively working alongside your team while ensuring everything runs smoothly.
You’ll be trained across all operational areas, including:
- Beverage service & bar operations
- Tastings & tours
- POS systems
- Guest check-in & flow
- Beverage expediting
During weekday shifts, you will run a station while maintaining full operational oversight.
Schedule (Required)Wednesday – Sunday
Mid-Fall & Winter- Wed & Sun: 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Thurs – Sat: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Wed & Sun: 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Thurs – Sat: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Friday hours may vary (Food Truck Fridays)
- Some weekday shifts may begin at noon
✔ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
✔ Must be able to stay active on your feet for 8–10 hour shifts
- Lead daily operations across all guest-facing departments
- Oversee and support weekend shift leads
- Hire, train, schedule, and develop team members
- Adjust staffing based on weather, volume, and seasonality
- Maintain team productivity, morale, and accountability
- Set the tone for a high-quality, welcoming experience
- Act as the main point of contact for guest concerns
- Manage check-in flow and overall service efficiency
- Support service during peak periods
- Educate guests on wines, beers, ciders, and spirits
- Oversee service flow across a large-scale outdoor venue
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
- Coordinate with other departments for seamless execution
- Step into service roles as needed
- Operate tasting room and retail during winter midweek shifts
- 2 years of hospitality or customer service experience
- 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven ability to perform in high-volume environments
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on leader who leads by example
- Guest-first mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Ability to balance operations service simultaneously
- Reliable transportation to Bolton, MA
