Position Summary: Under the direction of the Hospital/Regional Security Manager, supervises the effective day-to-day operations of the Security Department to ensure a safe environment for all hospital employees, patients, visitors, physicians, and equipment. Protects life and property of all persons on hospital premises.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: Two to five (2-5) years of experience in the field of law enforcement, security operations, or a related field is required. One (1) year of supervisory experience is required. Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
- Certification/Licensure: A current Basic Life Support (CPR) American Red Cross or American Heart Association Provider certification or a CPI certification is preferred.
- Software/Hardware:
- Other: Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
