About the Role
Nashia is an Islamic enrichment hub offering hands-on STEAM learning in a value-driven environment. We are currently hiring Lead Coaches and Assistant Coaches (High School Students) for our Summer Camp and After-School Programs.
This is an opportunity to mentor young learners, support engaging activities, and contribute to a meaningful educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and support hands-on learning sessions
- Assist in classroom management and student engagement
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive environment
- Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning space
Qualifications
Lead Coach
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing in a relevant field
- Experience working with children (teaching, mentoring, tutoring, etc.)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to plan and lead structured sessions
Assistant Coach (High School Students)
- Currently enrolled in high school (Grades 9–12)
- Responsible, punctual, and eager to learn
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Interest in working with children
Program Areas
Experience or interest in one or more of the following:
Robotics & LEGO | Coding & Animation | AI & Digital Creation | Video Editing | Science Projects | STEAM Activities
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Cooking or basic life skills
- Knitting or creative crafts
- Interest in sports or seasonal outdoor activities
Compensation
$15–$50 per hour (based on role, skills, and experience)
