Do you have a knack for customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Nash Tender is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cashier Crew Members to be the welcoming face of our hot chicken joint!
You're more than just a cashier here—you're a vital part of the team, ensuring every guest has a fiery and fantastic experience.
What You'll Do:
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet every guest with a friendly attitude, take accurate orders (including handling special requests), process transactions efficiently, and answer any questions about our menu and heat levels.
- Manage Peak Hours: Adapt and stay cool under pressure during our busiest rushes, maintaining speed and accuracy without sacrificing a positive attitude.
- Support Kitchen Operations: Step up to help the team wherever needed, which includes general prep, maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, and assisting with dishwashing when kitchen staff are slammed. We all pitch in!
- Maintain Store Cleanliness: Keep the front of house, condiment stations, and dining area sparkling clean and organized.
- Handle Cash and POS: Accurately manage cash and electronic payments and follow all cash handling procedures.
Key Requirements & Details:
- Work Schedule: Weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays) is required. Must be available to work some holidays, including but not limited to New Year's Day and Labor Day.
- A friendly, energetic, and customer-focused personality.
- The ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- The willingness to be a team player and assist with duties outside of just taking orders (including dishes).
- Probation: All new hires are subject to a 90-day probation period.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
