Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Associate Attorney to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will have, at minimum a basic understanding of transactional law and estate planning, with a desire to expand their practice into additional areas as the firm grows. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, client interaction, and the chance to work closely with a well-respected and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle transactional and estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and business contracts.
- Participate in client meetings, providing legal counsel and guidance.
- Take on increasing responsibility for case management and client relationships.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and strategic business development.
- Contribute to the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.
- Stay updated on legal developments, trends, and practice areas as the firm expands.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- 2 years of experience in transactional law and/or estate planning is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new practice areas and develop a diverse legal skill set.
- Interest in Probate Litigation.
