Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and operation of heavy equipment such as Drilling rigs, excavators, skid steers, water trucks, and dump trucks to support drilling activities.
- Support the safe movement and positioning of machinery on construction sites, including Caterpillar equipment and horizontal drilling tools.
- Help prepare drill sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and ensuring proper access for vehicles like tankers and paving equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of construction and drilling operations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Support team members in operating various construction machinery such as graders, water trucks, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, and other heavy equipment essential for geothermal drilling projects.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to assist in troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent preferred for driving large vehicles like dump trucks and water trucks.
