Data Science Internship
At Nasdaq, you’ll have the chance to start your career in an environment where learning, teamwork, and innovation come first. In this role, you’ll support our Data Access and Analytics team and gain hands-on experience with Eqlipse Intelligence Platform, a SaaS solution for enabling Financial Market Infrastructure organizations to unlock the full potential of their data.
You don’t need to know everything on day one — we’ll help you build the skills, confidence, and network to grow your career.

What You’ll Do
- Support our Data Engineering team with day-to-day tasks and contribute to ongoing initiatives.
- Learn how to build out advanced analytics in a variety of financial assets and markets; design and develop data models to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with teammates across different functions and regions.
- Bring your ideas and curiosity to problem-solving and project work.
- Develop your technical and professional skills through training and mentorship.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science or related area.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Curiosity about technology, finance, and global markets.
- Basic skills in SQL, programing language such as Java, Python, or Scala.
- Internship or project experience related to data analytics, data modeling or big data technologies.
- Involvement in student organizations, volunteering, or leadership roles.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools like Spark, DBT, Snowflake, Databricks, Monte Carlo, and Atlan.
