What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst, Corporate Development (M&A) position at Nasdaq?

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting strategic and financial analyses that drive growth and enhance organizational value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the M&A deal process, including identifying, evaluating, and executing potential capital deployment opportunities and related integration efforts.
  • Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and industry research to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement post-deal integration plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and support ad hoc corporate finance analyses and strategic projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or corporate development.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior M&A transaction experience; buy-side experience a plus.
  • Experience in capital markets, financial technology, or related industries.

The base pay range for this role is $75,000 – $120,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
