Grounds Maintenance Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Grounds Maintenance Quality Control Inspector to support our grounds maintenance contract at an IRS facility in Ogden, Utah. The individual will be responsible for conducting weekly inspections of the grounds to ensure all required maintenance activities are completed in accordance with the contract requirements and established quality standards.

Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Quality Control Inspector

Location: Ogden, Utah

Job Type: Part-Time

Duration: 4-5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly inspections of landscaped and maintained areas to verify that all required grounds maintenance services have been completed properly.
• Review the overall condition of the property, including lawns, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs, walkways, and other maintained grounds.
• Identify incomplete, substandard, or missed maintenance work and document any deficiencies.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain inspection records and provide clear reports regarding the condition and quality of the grounds.
• Coordinate with grounds maintenance personnel or management to address and correct identified issues.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure deficiencies are resolved promptly.
• Communicate any recurring issues or concerns to management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, property inspection, or quality control preferred.
• Strong understanding of general landscaping and grounds maintenance standards.
• Ability to identify maintenance deficiencies and assess the quality of completed work.
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct inspections on a weekly basis.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Must be dependable and able to consistently complete scheduled weekly inspections.
