Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for individuals with acute or chronic mental health conditions.
- Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy.
- Conduct psychoeducational sessions and support group therapies.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with NCQA and state regulations.
- Participate in on-call rotation, as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians for medication evaluation and management.
- Refer patients and their families to community resources as needed.
- Administer specialized therapeutic procedures like EMDR, where applicable.
- Participate in department-wide program development, evaluation, and crisis intervention.
- Provide supervision to Post-master’s Fellows and Associate Therapists if applicable.
- Collaborate with members' families to support treatment adherence.
Qualifications:
- Licenses (must have one of the following):
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California with Couples and Families Endorsement (or must obtain endorsement within 24 months of hire)
- Experience:
- Proficient in individual, family, and group therapy.
- Skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia.
- Certifications:
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
- Must be Medicare eligible (must not have opted out of seeing Medicare patients).
- Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnoses.
- Strong understanding of social service agencies, state regulations, and patient confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Several years of post-license experience in an outpatient or inpatient psychiatric setting.
- Experience providing crisis intervention.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Local to Fremont, CA, or surrounding areas.
