Videos Duties Help Conducts logistics planning and analyses, spares acquisition management, logistics data delivery/management, logistics infrastructure activities, and related services. Develops the business rules and processes required to manage Center-wide Logistics for supply and materials management. Directs, develops, or performs logistics management actions that involve the planning, coordinating or evaluating of logistical support functions. Maintains the status and progress of work, and makes day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities. Manages asset accountability from acquisition to grave; prepares disposition plans for retiring assets and evaluates resources needed to retire assets. Monitors progress toward meeting the logistics plan, identifies the cause and impact of delays or other problems, and takes actions to prevent or overcome problems/issues Manages budgets and resources; directs surveillance and audit activities; analyzes, coordinates, and integrates complex logistics issues. Acts as the center Supply and Equipment Management Officer (SEMO) and oversees, guides, manages, and integrates the supply chain operations. Qualifications Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify at the GS-14 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Providing logistics operations services, such as transportation, vehicle fleet management, equipment acquisition/disposal, warehouse operations, or inventory control, for an organization; Developing and delivering long-range logistics strategies, tracking organizational progress, and briefing stakeholders or leadership on operational status and goals; Overseeing contractor staff (e.g., performance oversight) and enforcing adherence to program requirements, policies, regulations, or contract specifications.
