Summary

As a Program Specialist with the Space Communications and Navigation Program (SCaN), Space Operations Mission Directorate, you will serve as the expert and manage strategic communications for the program.

You will be responsible for ensuring coherent and effective external messaging, while overseeing relevant procedures, schedules, and resources.

You will coordinate key engagements with policy groups and arenas of interest to SCaN and ensure awareness of SCaN's role in NASA mission success.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level : Developing and implementing strategic communication plans using modern communications philosophies, strategies, approaches, and tactics, including social media;

Leading teams of communications specialists and collaborating with multiple stakeholders; and Managing cost, schedule, and resources in program management and marketing contexts, including for execution of communication strategies.
