Regional Operations Trainer

Travel Requirement: Up to 80% Travel Throughout the Hawaiian Islands

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Regional Operations Trainer to support and oversee operational training compliance throughout our Hawaii stations, including HNL, OGG, KOA, ITO, and LIH.

This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer training adherence, and safety-focused performance across both cabin cleaning and cargo operations throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

Position Summary

The Regional Operations Trainer will serve as the primary training and compliance support leader for Hawaii operations. This position is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and enforcing all customer and company-required training programs while partnering closely with station leadership, operations teams, safety leadership, and airline customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong aviation operational knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities across several locations, and a passion for safety, compliance, and employee development.

This position is based on-site at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu, Hawaii, with frequent travel required to neighboring island stations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory and operational compliance requirements for all airline partners across the Hawaiian Islands
  • Manage customer Learning Management System (LMS) training compliance and internal company training compliance programs
  • Coordinate and oversee new hire, recurrent, annual, and required operational training assignments
  • Monitor training completion status and ensure compliance with all customer, company, TSA, FAA, OSHA, airport, and operational requirements
  • Maintain oversight of customer pseudo number issuance and compliance, including adding and removing employees from customer management systems
  • Provide full training oversight for cabin service and cargo operations at:
    • HNL – Honolulu
    • OGG – Kahului
    • KOA – Kona
    • ITO – Hilo
    • LIH – Lihue
  • Conduct quality control observations, operational audits, and field compliance reviews across all Hawaii stations
  • Partner with station leadership to identify operational gaps, training deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support day-to-day operational safety initiatives and reinforce compliance with company safety standards and customer procedures
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute training and compliance reports to operational leadership
  • Assist with corrective action planning related to training deficiencies or audit findings
  • Support operational startups, customer transitions, and special projects as assigned
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with company and customer standards
  • Travel regularly between island stations to support operational needs and compliance oversight

Qualifications

  • Previous aviation operations, aviation training, ground handling, cargo, or cabin services experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in airline compliance, operational training, or quality assurance preferred
  • Strong understanding of operational safety practices and compliance expectations within aviation environments
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operational demands across multiple stations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with operational leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and reporting functions
  • Experience with LMS systems and customer compliance platforms preferred
  • Ability to travel extensively between islands as operationally required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airport badges and clearances

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Position is based on-site at Honolulu International Airport (HNL)
  • Frequent airport and operational environment exposure
  • Travel to neighboring Hawaiian Islands required regularly
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and operational support hours as needed
  • Ability to walk operational areas, conduct field observations, and work in active airport environments

Salary : $58,000 - $65,000
