Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy individual to support the day-to-day personal affairs of a multigenerational high-net-worth family. This role is central to ensuring smooth communication, accurate financial tracking, and streamlined systems across the 24-member family. You’ll work closely with executives, handle sensitive information, and help manage investments, events, and charitable efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Investment Support
- Track and report on the family’s private equity and investment portfolio
- Maintain accurate and confidential family and financial records
- Support basic accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting
- Use Excel and related tools to analyze data and generate clear, actionable reports
Operations & Administration
- Manage documents, workflows, and internal systems to improve back-office efficiency
- Prepare presentations and materials for family members on financial and operational matters
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and general office logistics
Philanthropy & Events
- Assist with philanthropic activities, including grants, donation tracking, and reporting
- Assist with planning and hosting corporate events, including outdoor gatherings, hunting trips, and target shooting
Confidentiality & Professionalism
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work
- Communicate professionally with family members, advisors, and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Basic accounting knowledge and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and cloud tools (OneDrive, SharePoint)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with private equity or investment management preferred
- Experience with client service or professional office environments preferred
- Experience with nonprofits, foundations, or grant administration preferred
- Willingness to participate in and support outdoor, sportsman-oriented events (hunting, clay shooting, and target shooting)
- Willingness to travel domestically 5–6 times per year
