What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Supervisor position at NARROW SECURITY?
Narrow Security is currently hiring a Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor, under the guidance of Operations Manager, manages overall field services, operations and functions in assigned area including post reviews, performance inspections, emergency response, client liaison, post order compliance reviews and special projects as assigned. They must perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations. Field Supervisors are expected to visit a minimum of 5 to 6 post locations per day, documenting visits, and persons contacted.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure compliance with general and specific post orders for assigned positions
- Manage and coordinate all security operations and programs in assigned area
- Partner with client location representatives to ensure proper utilization and execution of security programs
- Respond in a timely manner to emergent events, issues, staffing deficiencies, and client requests
- Initiate preliminary investigations and write incident reports on all internal personnel issues
- Partner with corporate security team members during event security details
- Ensure personnel are provided with necessary equipment and equipment is accounted for
- Distribute equipment and uniforms to personnel as necessary
- Complete proper personnel documentation/paperwork and processing as circumstances dictate
- Holding post as needed by Operations Team
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have valid Drivers License
- Must own reliable transportation
- Supervisory Experience is a MUST
- Must have up to date Security Guard License/ Guard Card
- Must be reliable and **punctual**
- Minimum 2 years related safety/security experience
- Knowledgeable and proficient in general security industry standards and methods
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must possess advanced skills and professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion; Must demonstrate an effective ability to de-escalate situations.
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
- Excellent time-management, communication, writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills required
- Strong managerial and administrative skills
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
- A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
