Location: New York City (Manhattan) / In-Office 5 Days/Week
Employment Type: Full-Time (Salary)
Company Description
Narrative Distribution is a global film and television distributor built to help content owners monetize at scale across streaming, transactional, broadcast, and digital platforms. Formed in 2024 as part of the broader Narrative® family of companies, the company combines modern cloud-based delivery and rights infrastructure with a senior team of proven distribution executives based in Los Angeles, New York, and London. Narrative Distribution maintains direct partnerships with leading platforms — from Amazon and Apple to Disney and Netflix — releasing over one hundred new titles annually while expanding a rapidly growing library with a strong focus on free ad-supported streaming, broadcast channels, and long-term rights monetization.
The company releases content through a portfolio of forward-thinking distribution labels: Chroma, a US-based global distributor championing science fiction and horror genre films; Persimmon, a global label devoted to mystery, romance, and true crime storytelling with a focus on direct-to-streaming and television; Wolfe Video, the longest-running and largest distributor of LGBTQ films in the world, celebrating its 40th anniversary; and classic film restoration label, Treasury. The Content Operations team provides shared delivery infrastructure that serves all four labels.
Role Description
The Deliveries Manager is the operational hub of Narrative Distribution's content supply chain, responsible for the end-to-end movement of content across all four company labels — from receipt and quality control of incoming licensor materials through cloud ingest, mastering, and outbound delivery fulfillment to licensee platforms worldwide. This position works closely with the General Manager, the Business Affairs team, and external partners to ensure that every title in the Narrative Distribution catalog is ingested cleanly, maintained to technical standards, and delivered correctly and on time.
Day-to-day responsibilities span the full delivery lifecycle. The role receives, logs, and QCs inbound assets from licensors and catalog suppliers — including video masters, audio tracks, subtitles, closed captions, artwork, and metadata packages — and manages their ingest into Narrative Distribution's cloud-based content management infrastructure. The Deliveries Manager serves as the primary point of contact for licensors on technical delivery issues and QC failures, and as the operational contact for licensee platform partners on delivery-related matters including rejections, metadata corrections, and replacement asset requests. Outbound fulfillment is executed via a media supply chain platform, with the role responsible for building and maintaining delivery configurations for each platform partner and optimizing workflows to support growing catalog volume.
The role also performs or oversees light mastering and compliance work to remediate QC failures and insert label-specific branding, coordinates with outside post-production vendors as needed, and manages the technology licenses and vendor relationships that support the content operations function. Ongoing development of the delivery infrastructure — including SOPs, workflow automation, and tooling improvements — is a core part of the role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, systems-oriented media operations professional with strong technical knowledge of digital media workflows who is looking to take ownership of a critical function at a dynamic, fast-growing distribution company.
