Narconon Arrowhead provides a drug-free substance abuse program in a residential setting providing services to our clients 7 days a week.
Position Overview
The Housekeeper & Cleaner is responsible for performing general cleaning, sanitization, and light maintenance across organizational spaces (including offices, common areas, restrooms, meeting rooms, and service areas). This role ensures our facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, directly supporting our daily operations and community programs.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning & Sanitization
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors across offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms multiple times daily (soaps, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, light switches, elevator buttons, handrails, counters).
- Dust furniture, fixtures, window sills, and blinds.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and stretch for extended periods.
Additional Requirements
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible to occasionally assist with special events.
- Background check required prior to employment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35–50 lbs (e.g., trash bags, heavy mops, cleaning equipment, paper supply boxes).
- Comfortable working around standard industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor buffers if applicable).
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
