Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols
- Utilize hand tools, ladders, farm machinery, and other equipment to access hard-to-reach areas for pest treatment
- Implement integrated pest management strategies that prioritize environmentally responsible solutions
- Educate customers on pest prevention techniques and provide excellent customer service throughout the service process
- Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, treatment locations, and pest activity reports
- Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection standards, and other safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience or background in lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools and farm machinery
- Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, pest control methods, and chemical agent handling is essential
- Strong understanding of entomology principles related to pest identification and behavior
- Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment following ladder use and ladder safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interaction
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures
