We’re looking for a People Operations Business Partner (Compensation & Analytics) who’s equal parts strategic, analytical, and operational — someone who enjoys working with people, data, compensation, and systems to help organizations run better.

🚀 The Opportunity

This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of:

👉 People Operations (HR)

👉 Compensation & Workforce Planning

👉 Analytics & Business Partnership

You’ll work closely with leadership to help manage and improve how we think about compensation, organizational structure, workforce analytics, and internal people operations.

This is not a traditional HRBP role focused only on employee relations.

This is not a pure analytics role sitting behind spreadsheets all day.

👉 This is a builder role — focused on helping scale the operational side of a fast-moving company.



🔧 What You’ll Do

📊 Own Compensation & Workforce Analytics

  • Support compensation planning, benchmarking, and workforce analysis
  • Analyze compensation, equity, and people-related data to support leadership decision-making
  • Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, spreadsheets, and internal tracking systems
  • Partner with finance and leadership on workforce planning initiatives



🤝 Partner with Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted operational partner across people-related initiatives
  • Support organizational planning, headcount management, and internal operations
  • Help leaders make informed people decisions using data and analytics



⚙️ Improve Systems & Processes

  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline People Operations workflows
  • Help systematize and scale HR and operational processes
  • Turn manual, messy workflows into scalable systems and repeatable processes

  • Translate people and compensation data into actionable insights
  • Surface trends, gaps, and operational opportunities
  • Balance attention to detail with strategic thinking

  • Use modern workflows and systems to help scale internal operations smarter and faster
  • Continuously look for ways to optimize how work gets done

  • 2-5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, Compensation, HRBP, People Analytics, or related functions
  • Strong understanding of compensation structures, workforce planning, or people analytics
  • Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Comfort working with sensitive and confidential employee data
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly across teams and leadership levels
  • A proactive, “figure it out” mindset in fast-moving environments

  • Experience with compensation platforms or HR systems (Carta, ADP, Workday, etc.)
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments
  • Exposure to workforce analytics or organizational planning
  • Interest in AI tools and operational automation
  • Background partnering closely with leadership teams
