Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage tables effectively by bussing when needed, resetting for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and dietary options, to assist guests confidently.
- Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally while focusing on guest satisfaction.
