We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards while handling food and beverages.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints professionally and efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
